A friend of mine on FB suggested that vacations used to be normal, but now they are a luxury. I grew up in the 70s and 80s and we never went on vacation, but I look at my kids' classmates and their families travel frequently. From my perspective, taking a vacation seems much more common now, but perhaps I'm wrong. My question is, when did you grow up and did you travel often?
