I love being a financial planner but I don't always love telling people what I do. People understandably fear being sold. But I often anti-sell people. 😂 E.g., yesterday I talked to a couple who had nearly $400k of RSUs vesting in Oct. and they wanted to not make any mistakes. In our 30 minute call I walked them through everything they needed to know and followed up with detailed steps. I told them I could run projections on filing jointly vs. separately but that they could totally DIY it.
