Want to say one thing about the Georgia shooting that I’ve been thinking a lot about; feel free to scroll past if you need to. It’s related to this detail included in the screenshot below. Teachers had panic buttons they were able to press which got first responders there within minutes. The school “resource officers” (security) were, amazingly, able to unarm the student almost immediately. 1/

This most recent shooting shows this. This is a situation where, from a school and security standpoint, everything went as well as it possibly could have gone. Four people still died. 2/
