Most fine dining restaurants are international cuisine so definitely some ingredients have to be sourced from abroad, even if its a common ingredient there. Generally the prices have risen astronomically after the pandemic, but Ive noticed an uptrend in Omakase (costing below $100++)appearing again. A good sign for us, especially since most of the population loves Japanese food.
