I just deleted my NaNoWriMo account. I should have done it last year when the message board mods were leading on children, but I didn’t. This year they are allowing people to use AI to write. I’m not against AI in general, but I don’t like it creating art. Regardless, I don’t need a special month to push me to write. I have life to do that now. I will always be thankful for the push that month (but really, why that month?). I finished a couple of books and started many others because of it.
