Neither is sola scriptura or “faith alone.” Catholic was just a name given later, in 107AD, to describe His church. The church developed overtime, much like a seed becomes a tree. Christ left us a church with an authority structure. He didn’t give us a Bible and then say to just off and read it and that’s all you need.
