It’s amazing how kids live up to the label given them. Last year I had seven big 16-17 year old boys in my self contained class and three girls. I called them ladies and gentlemen all year and they behaved like ladies and gentlemen 95% of the time that year. I did not use any special techniques or strategies, but I was just my authentic self.
