- One thing that drastically changed my client retention was consultations. I increased my appointment time to include a sit down consult with my new clients . This allowed both of us to get to know each out better, build trust, educate, and help me sell retail easily. - Rebook before they leave. - I send follow up texts to check on them 25 hours after. - Automated appointment reminders. - Referral incentive, mine is $25 off for both individuals

Build rapport, educate always, provide results driven treatments. Clients love to learn about their own skin and feel empowered to know what they need. Always recommend homecare and send them home with a plan for their skin that includes professional treatments with you and their “homework.” This gives them something to look forward to and skin goals to reach. They will see the results that they helped to create with your guidance.

Don’t be to pushy on product sales! If they ask, then recommend, but don’t push people to buy your products or treatments, and always give alternatives if some things are to expensive but they do need a little something extra in their regimen. Your client will appreciate your transparency and understanding of their financial situation, which will lead them to trust you and want to come back.
