Spotify is the most popular platform globally. In the US, Apple has taken the lead which says more about how US users are persuaded by marketing and peer pressure rather than what's actually better for them. The first thing that comes out of Apple user's mouths is that Apple sounds better. Most of these people use iPhones, iPads. Macs and everything else Apple. Unless they're wired or using external DACs, they can't play 16-bit or 24-bit audio. Apple devices don't support that.
