You sad? My big boy is so empathetic and compassionate already. One of our neighbors was walking with her head down. Ky: You sad? Neighbor: Hi there, little one. Ky: You sad? (I know damn well, you heard me) Neighbor: Yes, but I’ll be alright. Ky: (spreads his arms for a hug.) Neighbor: (Looks at me) May I come in the gate? Me: Of course. Neighbor gives Ky a big hug and says she really needed that. I don’t know what was bothering my neighbor, but she left better than when she came.
