Is this a real question? Women can have a life and existence outside of having children. I feel sorry for you, that have never discovered that for yourself. It’s also not healthy to center your entire existence on another human being & project your life purpose onto them. That will create a stressful & unhealthy relationship, especially between a parent and child. Motherhood is beautiful & requires sacrifice. I admire women who choose it. But it’s not the ONLY option for a woman

i mean, i feel i have little purpose because we’re increasingly living in a latestage capitalist dystopia— having kids would hardly make that better.

My purpose is to live my life fully and authentically, to enjoy time with people I love and who I want to be in community with, to enjoy activities that make me happy, to explore the world and everything being human has to offer. There is so much more to do, to explore, to learn and to connect with. If anything I feel like I have more purpose than if I had a kid before I was ready.

Why does life have to revolve around kids? There’s so much to enjoy, especially if you have a good income and can travel, pursue hobbies, meet new people, practice better self care etc. I dislike this societal pressure to “become a mom otherwise you have no purpose in this world”. Life should be enjoyed and it shouldn’t matter how that looks from one person to the next.

I’m 40 years old and I do feel like no purpose at this point . I love kids and want to be in a relationship with someone in my own race and country . Not happening at this moment . Should I move to another country to restart ?
