Why do Team GB do so well in the Paralympics? What are they doing so well for their disabled athletes that other countries are not.

Funding, programs at grass roots level, actual inclusion, better optiotunities for athletes with a disability. I’m in Australia and the lack of access to programs is a massive issue, if you aren’t inner suburbs or aren’t well informed you don’t hear about it, as both a coach and a disabled person, getting info out and also getting info about is so hard, with minimal support.

Lottery funding I think is the answer to this and the reason why since 2012 the British Olympic team have done so much better. Funny what proper investment can bring about.

It’s all about investment, funding and infrastructure. Lottery money has enabled this. John Major’s greatest legacy.

Funding through the National Lottery helps. Other than that I think it's down to attitude. USA in particular are very quiet compared to all the fanfare blowing that took place on here during the Olympics

Money. Lottery pours mills into para sport. Not many countries do that. And good for them

Because we don’t lock our disabled away out of sight like a lot of countries.
