Given my rather awful headspace lately I’m just going to come right out and shamelessly flaunt one of my unearned wins. A couple women I work with were trying to figure out my age — they’d guessed 25 or 30 but when they found out I’d been teaching since 2003 they were like, wtf, were you a child prodigy or something. I told them uh actually I’m 45 and their jaws dropped. Before I transitioned ppl always thought I was a decade or two *older* than my actual age; now it’s the reverse. ✨💁🏻‍♀️
