I’ve been trying to find some information on the sustainability of the current trend for white oak. I keep seeing videos with people mentioning how hard it is to get in the sizes they want, and the price. This sounds like maybe white oak is being over-harvested. My personal fav wood is eastern maple, but I love white oak trees to look at. They are beautiful. I would hate for stupid trends to wipe them out. woodworking
