It’s crazy bc they are small minded ppl who only say stuff like this. It’s deeper than what it seems on the outside for others. It’s your enjoyment of the things that make you happy and put a smile on your face and that’s kpop, and they also have no idea that although you may not know these artist personally vise versa …but they have helped you through the hardest times in your life and helped shaped you in some way. And trust the artist you admire feels the same way the feeling is mutual

It really is just a matter of misunderstanding. I always say there are 3 categories of people when it comes to kpop: those who get it, those who don’t get it, and those who think they get it. The ones who think they get it are usually the ones being assholes about it.

It’s those type of people that just don’t understand what it’s like to really be a dedicated fan to artists who genuinely care for the fans, even if it is a parasocial relationship.
