Could use some bike advice. About to donate my trusty 10 year old Jamis commuter and would like to replace it with something reasonably priced ($1,000-$1500 new or used would be great too!) suitable for SF hills and good for half day road rides in the Marin headlands. Be really great if it was happy on packed dirt trails as well but don’t think I need suspension really. Based on loose reading it sounds like I’m shopping for a gravel bike? I’m early 40s so maybe that shoe fits 😜 taking reccos!
