As parents, we all want the best for our kids but at what cost? I try to encourage and push a little when needed but I never force. Ultimately, I want my kids to enjoy what they’re doing and to do what they do cuz they want it not cuz mommy and daddy want it. Living vicariously through your kids. I find it risky. Thoughts?

6 小時內	rajahawathul raja_hawathul	I think the best that you can do is to motivate and encourage them to give life a shot and do their best - but at the end of the day, they have to steer their own ship. I agree that it’s risky to live vicariously through them. I don’t think it’s fair that kids have to struggle through something because of someone else (eg parents). If anything, they should struggle/push through something for their own sake. After all, berat mata memandang, lagi berat bahu yang memikul. We should offer support. 🤍
