I used to stick up for the police unions. I worked with great cops. I knew my own union helped prevent nepotism, favoritism and sexism in the fire service. We did community service projects side by side with the PD. This endorsement by the police parent union is disappointing. They are backing a candidate that has no respect for laws and cares nothing for the people they serve.
