Yeah, we're a bit extra like that. We will waste literal tons of food rather than hear our portions are small, but also refuse to feed anyone we think hasn't contributed enough to society to deserve food. 😞

When I moved back to the states from Asia this hit me as well. I constantly had to ask for reduced portions, but after the 100th time you give up and just accept that they’re going to give you a giant pile of food unless you’re at a Michelin star restaurant. Mystery of fat Americans solved.
