your personal life shouldn’t be part of your personal brand (at least not *most* of it). Agree? Yay or nay?

I think you get to choose the boundaries. I have clear ones. Things I will talk about and things I won’t 🤭

I think it takes mastery and practice to learn how to be authentic with your audience without sharing too much of your personal life, but I agree. If you’re doing it right, no one will need to know what you’re up to every weekend. It’s also personal preference how much you choose to share, but it can err on the line of unprofessional AND you’re risking burnout a lot faster and easier. Vulnerability hangovers are real when you don’t understand boundaries

My personal life is my personal brand... how do you differentiate the two? I think it's important to have boundaries but that's important in any relationship virtual or IRL. I feel like not including aspects of your personal life wouldn't make it a personal brand, it would be too curated in a sense?

If you’re building a personal brand for the purpose of scaling your livelihood (your business aka your finances) then there needs to be strategy to it. That doesn’t mean you ✨ can’t ✨ share whatever you want, but you can’t rely on random personal stuff growing your actual business
