People judging new Linkin Park's singer Emily Armstrong for being friends with Masterson, an actor/r*pist. She supported him when the allegations against him just appeared in media. I'm pretty sure most of these haters would support their friends if something like that happened. I know I would. At least until he/she proven guilty. My friend is a person I know and trust so I'd continue doing that. I'd believe the victims, too. Anyone who says they would "cancel" their friend are liars.
