Listening after some time away from it: Public Enemy’s Fear of a Black Planet is to me pretty much a perfect album. Totally cohesive and utterly chaotic it boils and simmers and feels like it’s gonna come apart any second, but it doesn’t. It totally inhabits its own world. What albums do that for you?
