It's usually a big fanfare when I get home and see my cat: my obnoxiously loud voice in a higher, more enthusiastic pitch squealing, "HI, BAYBEEEEE!" as I scritch her cheeks and boop her forehead. She responds to this with all the enthusiasm of a teen whose mother coos and fawns over them during school events. 😹 Today, I had to go to the bathroom, so just walked right by her.
