September is Suicide Prevention Month. For people suffering to a point that they’re suicidal, “suicide prevention” is like worrying about an air bag deploying instead of the car wreck. I wish humanity could prevent its proverbial car wrecks, but we haven’t made it there yet, and perhaps you’re staring at an airbag and it’s looking like relief.
