This rings really true for me. Once upon a time, I said I would never leave Florida, said I didn't want kids, said I didn't know that I'd ever get married, and definitely didn't want to marry someone who was religious. Now, as the widow of a minister who already had a child when we got married, in Little Rock Arkansas, I can truly say that we never know what it is we really need until it arrives and we discover we can't live without it.
