This new kickoff in the NFL is terrible. Just get rid of it. Eliminate kickoffs all together except for pre-announced onside kicks. Another caveat is that if a team scores a TD the opposing team should start at the 25 but if they kick a FG the opposing team should start at the 35 or even the 40. That would incentive going for TDs.
