@fredericmokren here’s the typical kind of thing the NYT does. Headline: “Trump claims his rallies are bigger than Harris’. We counted”. They then give their estimates for 3 rallies each, and in each case Harris’ crowds were bigger. Instead of “Trump lies”, their line is “crowd sizes were similar for both”. They’d probably argue they are being fair and balanced in their description of the room; I’d argue they are ignoring the elephant in the room.
