I gave up chicken , red meat, turkey, giving up cheese is my weakness. I wish I could find a vegan cheese that taste just as good as the real things. Any vegans on this app I need some assistance!

Give violife a try, I’m hooked on it! Tastes and melts like cheese. They also do a cream cheese which is so good 💚🌱

Violife is our favorite, they have so many flavor options now you really don't have to miss cheese that's made of dairy. I make Alfredo sauce and Mac and cheese with violife cheese all the time and it's sooo yummy.😋

Pretty much none taste as good, you have to accept that and remember why you want to give it up. Different substitutes will taste fine in different applications, but nothing will be quite the same in everything. Giving up cheese is your proof of willingness to sacrifice for the greater good.

Vegan cheese does not taste great hot & melted. Cold, I think they’ve nailed it. I love smoked gouda, blue cheese, feta, and cheddar cold.

I’ve tried so many and here are a few I love. Everyone’s taste buds are different. You can make it yourself too.

I like the Whole Foods brand cheddar - nice texture cold and it actually melts like real cheese

Some things you can replace 1/1, others you can't- or not exactly. There are a lot of good vegan cheeses out there, and better ones are coming, but in some dishes completely different ingredients can give you what you want. An example: in sauces I used to put cheese in (and I was a serious cheese addict), I know use either cashews, or hummus, or ... well, there are different options. Sometimes an unexpected alternative works just as well, or better.
