Update! American Airlines did find my forgotten laptop (I left it on the plane) and they are sending it back to me. I can’t stress how important it is to set up your “Find My” on your iPhones and computers (I’m not sure what the equivalent is on Android). I was able to pinpoint the computer, after they took it off the plane into the airport. I could see the exact stores it was next to, in order to update my claim. It was only a two day turnaround. I am thankful! 😅
