FolkloreSunday prompt: mystery
Fog always cloaks the forest in mystery. Despite sounding similar "mist" and "mystery" are unrelated words. Mist comes comes from the proto-germanic mihstaz (fog)
Still they both evoke the same feeling because fog "conceals" and Greek "mysterion" implies secrecy. For me fog is a mystical cloak that blurs the threshold of reality "into the alluring grey and white" transient world it builds. Words from my song "In the Mist" ↘️youtu.be/ke8qA6SjG9s
