Keith Haring became one of my queer heroes at a young age. I used to sit in the art room in 8th grade and watch the short documentary footage in which he was arrested for tagging in NYC subway stations. Today, my partner took me to see the Keith Haring exhibit at the Walker. Definitely a very cool bucket list experience. I’m so grateful for a partner who knows what feeds my spirit.
