George (or Gregory) died in 1928, and it’s pretty wild there’s even a photo of him that still existed. The family was so poor and weren’t able to afford professional photos or cameras. Jay had 2: one of the two of them as little toddlers (probably about 1912 or 1913) and one when George was a teenager. No other living family member had ever seen a photo of him until I uploaded Jay’s.
