My views on it evolved, first you shouldn’t ask a third party permission to marry, it’s a deal between two people, state has no business being a third party. Secondly, It’s all based on chemistry, I’ve seen two very likable people when they are separated; but together it’s a toxic combination. If someone was rushed or forced to marry young to someone that they don’t love and trust; why live your life in misery?
