I wish Zelle made it more difficult. They present a product that has a UX that’s as fluid as Venmo or PayPal — or better — and yet it’s not at all like those products because banks regard Zelle as like a cash transaction. There’s no recourse for scams. In this context, Zelle seems dishonest because it’s UX isn’t what it seems.
