Evacuation warning due to fire switching direction and headed our way (Line Fire). Wish us luck! 1 dog, 2 cats, and 1 special needs daughter. But we do have a camper down the hill so at least we have a place to go. All hotels and motels are apparently full.

The taxpayers complain about having to pay for much needed healthy forest plans but then don't believe in global warming. I used to live in Big Bear a very good friend is a forester so I am not making this up, this is science.

Getting closer and the smoke is getting thicker (in our mountain pocket cul-de-sac we’ve had just enough breeze) so I’m letting my hubs and sped daughter sleep while I keep watch but probably off this mountain in the morning. Hope I can have a house to come home to.
