Is any photography a waste of time, or for that matter is art a waste of time? Is photography art?

Yeah you answered your own question well enough but I don't need to know what camera you used. Street photography is about the images you create, I don't care how. I look at your images (and other photographers) and respond to them honestly based on what I see and feel. I genuinely do enjoy your work. I see more and more street photographers listing their gear and don't understand why it is relevant, unless they are being paid to promote a product, which I assume you are not.

I just do it for the curiosity of how shots are transformed through turning black and white, and the satisfaction of that. I'm still always surprised by it, i don't personally like being out, i find it tiring and boring, i'm not constantly inspired, it feels like trying to pierce through the genericness of everything. But that's not dissimilar to directors who love editing most.

The answer is always “yes”- but does that stop us? Also- what is time useful for anymore? 😅 unless to just survive? Sorry- your question just raises more questions about life
