If you're prepared - emotionally and financially, yes. Best time of my life.

Only if you have enough income to be comfortable enough to allow you to fo the things you want to, many do not! Personlally I have worked on long oast normal retirement age, not because I need to, because I enjoy my job, my team & the dynamic. I will retire at the end of this year, I can’t really say I’m looking forward to it!

My husband and I are enjoying retirement! I retired last year and my husband retired in May. After 40 years of working, we were both ready for this new chapter. More time for camping, bike riding, kayaking and travel.

I'm semi retired 4 day week and my long weekends are great, next year going down to a 3 day week then only 2 more years to full retirement. It is and is going to be a dream life after 49 years working.

Only when you plan for it, have plenty of resources for it, and your health holds up.
