Y'all, my partner and I got a hotel room due to a mass shooting perpetrator being searched for near where we live (we are way farther away at the hotel) and we had to switch rooms TWICE. Once because I got bit by fleas and the second because the floor was literally flooded. When I tell you I felt like such an asshole asking to switch rooms, I mean it. I felt horrible for poor the desk clerk. It's been a night.
