Completely on paper at the time you would look at the numbers and say that Watson would be an upgrade. But that fact that ownership looked only at his numbers in Houston and then completely ignored the legal and moral issues, the year plus off that they led to, and that they somehow thought that he was going to make better decisions on the field after making so many bad decisions off the field to the point you'd throw crazy money at him... that's just insane.

His contract runs through 2026 I believe. $230 mil guaranteed. Chances of him being the player they thought he was are very, very low. But, hey, there’s always a chance.
