I thought I’d mention that a few eons ago, I was once up for a rewrite on a fine film script entitled The Vulgarians about a group of immigrants who hailed from the country of Vulgaria and belched and farted a lot. I was told the original writer had failed to merge the film’s two central themes - “be true to yourself” and “don’t be a phony.” Every word of this is true.
