Since I'm getting through books more quickly than expected this month, I'm adding a bonus sci-fi book. Parable of the Sower by Octavia Butler. I've been feeling bad that I haven't read it yet because I've heard great things. Sometimes I feel like I'm catching up on books I missed out on because people around me were only hyping up sci-fi by white men.
