Happy Sunday everyone! I am sat at home listening to one of the most defining features of the Falklands - strong, westerly winds. Before I venture outside into it, here's a photo of a calmer day down at FIPASS, the Falklands Interim Port and Storage System. Interim is stretching a point rather as it is over 40 years old. Part of my job is getting it replaced with a modern port, a task which is rather urgent. Almost all our imports - from food to construction materials - come by boat.
