Being TRIGGERED is not your fault but it is YOUR PROBLEM. A trigger is simple an old emotion being resurfaced in an uninvited manner. To overcome it, ask yourself this: When was the first time you experienced that very feeling? Within the emotion is a memory attached to it. It is your duty to revisit that memory and allow yourself to process the emotion problem. Comfort your inner child what you wished your parent said to you.
