Consider this other advantage to owning an EV….Some of them come with vehicle to load technology. This is the ability to plug in and run a household appliance off the vehicle’s big battery. We recently used the V2L on our Kia Niro EV to power our fridge and freezer when we lost power instead of running our gas generator.
