To help illustrate this, our muscles are active all day long as we move through our daily activities. But that doesn’t mean our muscles are strengthening in our daily activities. (That’s why we have a whole separate physical activity called *strength training*, in which we load our muscles in a specific way for the purpose of *building strength*.) 
The same concept applies to our yoga practice. More ⬇️
