The movie had its moments but felt off to me. There must be more crazy stuff from that cast that was left in the hard drive & didn’t make it into the final cut. Too much of Jeffrey Jones character, the dead Dad was miscast/underwhelming (should’ve been someone famous, funny & unexpected) the Soul Train scene & music was mishandled- I wanted it to be more of what it was when it was at its best. The MacArthur Park thing was fine but too long, & younger people around us didn’t get it at all.
