It's is insanely wild that people think creatives should do things just for "exposure". While it's work that we love to do, it is still WORK. The amount of time and effort that goes into creative pursuits that others literally rely on to zone out from their own lives and not get any payment for it; or, that one should be "lucky" to have the opportunity (yes but we need to live, too) and not expect payment, is equally as wild to me.
