I wouldn't have had a problem with losing the money because my flight changed but because I heard Hotel Carasco do it for someone else I asked. I was offered 20€ and free breakfast (already in room price). Anyway it ended in tears and no accomodation...not one single thing. Was it because I was a woman, a Black person, or an American? Either way my intersectionality didn't garner the same respect as the white man and woman. I guess I have a new story for my next book.
