Every day my Text and Email are full of pleas to donate to both candidates for the presidential election. I have maxed out on my personal cash donations and still I am being hounded and pestered, sometimes quite rudely, for more money. I unsubscribe and block but still the begging continues. Is the presidential election decided by how many millions of dollars either candidate has pillaged by November 2024? Are we 'buying' a president? America has become a super-capitalist society.
