Harris should open the debate with a statement like this: "Since our mics are muted and I cannot interrupt former President Trump, every time he tells a lie I'm going to hold up one finger. Every time he says something racist, I'm going to hold up two fingers. Every time he says something that makes absolutely no sense, I'm going to hold up three fingers I will not have time to address all of his lies, racist statements and nonsense, so I will have to do that afterwards and tomorrow"
